Just a little chat.

It feels like it’s been forever since I used this blog format. I created the Marigold web page, but somehow, this site had been changed so I’m reverting to “IampamHolland”

I will adopt two blog formats moving ahead.

I have just returned from an extensive seventy-one-day tour.

This tour included five consecutive trips across North and Central India, Uzbekistan, Morocco, and Barcelona. All of this was done in the name of textiles.

Back from tours.

Applique complete. OK, so not everyone likes ladies on their legs.!!!!

All finished!

The variety of colors in the applique allows me to pair it with any color top. Next, I plan to create a brooch that can be attached to the top, although it will feature a different pattern.

The fabric is a delicately woven slub with an indigo block-printed design. It’s incredibly lightweight and, being made from pure organic cotton, it feels wonderful to wear. The top is a design I’ve crafted and produced for many years now. The arm cord is purchased by the meter from Temu, while the buttons are djellaba buttons sourced from Morocco.

Lovely to hear your voice again. I follow your tours each time you do them. I am envious of the ladies who are able to take part in the tours.

Lovely to see your email and your travels. I was lucky enough to travel in Uzbekistan 2 years ago What a amazing place I loved it Made even better that we had an amazing guide – we did the Silk Road and it is one place I would visit again
