Turquoise, Red, Orange and Blue – the colors of celebration – a photo Journal.

Turquoise, Red, Orange and blue are the colors of the Jeonju Temple gate. Dramatic, stimulating colors that stir the heart and the designs capture the imagination. Jeonju, famous among Koreans as a town of culture and cuisine, cultural and artistic tradition emanates from every corner of the city.

Color and cross stitch

The fashion changes quite quickly they told us shyly, smiling with their hands covering their face. Then again I saw some garments so heavily stitched with cross stitch that it must have been quite uncomfortable to wear.

The art of Patzcuaro Mexico.

It’s an exciting adventure for a gal from the suburbs of the Adelaide hills. This is more than a quilting experience its a blending of culture and art, something that is often missed by the casual tourist.

Images in Capture and Create.

This year at the Southern New Mexico Festival of quilts I will be taking people out on a photography excursion.

It won’t be a technical camera trip, but a “Capture and Create” tour. These are some of the images I took last year at White Sands National Monument here in Alamogordo.
