Capturing the day
Sharing my vision of NY I photographed, walked and generally relaxed yesterday. The previous days travel was long and tiring and I got quite a late start to the day yesterday. I have some research to do today at the Museum of Folk Art. I actually walked the 30 blocks to find it late yesterday…
Off to NY.
5.00 am and with the images of Pageant of the Masters still fresh in my mind I'm preparing to leave early this morning. I wasn't able to take photos… but I did take a few of the preamble…. however, this blog says it all most eloquently.

The sun is beating at the window and begging me to "leave the room" still work comes first. I've even had to turn on the air-conditioning and I don't do that too often. !!!! I made a terrible mistake yesterday… I underestimated the power of the sun and despite sunburn cream I am rather pink…

Working on the computer……..Morning coffee An hour of filming wonderful fabrics at Hoffman Fabrics A feast for the eyes. Magnolia seed pods found on the ground. A day with wonderful quilters and dinner with friends… I fell into bed at 8.30 and slept the sleep of contentment.

I’m in the airport after a Most amazing morning ….. Scary and dangerous situations in Hot Springs…..and then there was a terrible car crash in front Of me…. The car burnt Beyond recognition….. I got here late. …. The bling set off the alarm and my trousers almost fell down as I was being patted…
