The water lilys float on the surface of the lake and the stems fade into the darkness and become distorted by the ripples in the water. The water shimmers in the sun and the reeds stand like horizontal punctuations in the water, their reflections twisting into the most interesting shapes. The loons are the icons…

Wow, what a day it was yesterday…. Acceptance of the 3 quilts in Houston. Son Jamie and the team nominated for an Emmy, and I may be able to catch up with him in LA. Confirmation of my new home base Apt in Hot Springs Arkansas… I'll be down there for a couple of weeks…
