I'm drawing apple trees…. they have to fit into a 4" block… maybe I've made it too detailed…! Whew, the video is finished, and the entries for Houston have been posted… lets hope they make it… I finished it all today…. (except this little tree)…. it will be more whimsical when I finish it….

Do you ever have one of those days? You work your butt off and nothing gets finished… so as I wake up this morning, I guess I'll complete a lot of tasks today that were begun yesterday. I spent an entire day photographing quilts yesterday, organizing air fares, filling out papers, editing film…..and I got…
My two lives.
Business and travel on one hand and Domestic and family on the other. Sometimes it takes a little time to integrate the two when I get home.
Drawing the quilts.
The quilts will feature fabric designed from the letters, so for instance the blue fabric in the some of the blocks will look like the knitted sweater, there will even be holes in it…
The red and white will be the same as the legs and there will be illustrated applique blocks of unusual apple trees in some of the blocks.

It's been a busy day today… I did a media interview, and now I'm drawing quilts….!!! The quilts that will be in the Alphabet book will be illustrated… I may have one finished to show this evening…. But that's the only one I will show… because it will spoil the book. A for Attitude, Apple…

Home at last and it’s Mothers Day
Let me talk about my Ipad…. I used it every day when I was traveling, It was wonderful on the plane… I wrote notes, a little bit of the book and it’s much easier than whipping out the computer.
I’ll get a lot of use out of it.
