This time last year I was taking off for snow bound Chicago !!!!It was snowing, freezing cold and an interesting start to the year.
The drawing and quilt above came about after another trip to Chicago and it is the way I captured the view from my hotel window.

The emotion and power of color.
Colours have always been emotional for me. (that’s why my studio is adobe red and turquoise.) I really didn’t pay much attention to the idea until the past few years.. so I find it a very interesting subject.
