IT’S ALMOST CHRISTMAS.

8 days home from travel and its been a huge week for many reasons. Amongst finishing my Textile Art projects I’m working on the images I took during the trip preparing them for a work format. With just a short time home, I’m making the most of my time to get everything completed. Pushkar Camel…

I have no idea what awaits me when I get home.

Most all I want to unpack the big box from India and set everything out so I can relive the experiences again. So I guess I just put on the shorts and the ‘T’ shirt and plain get down to it. I can sleep in my own bed. But really, I might just flop in…

Animal Kingdom

Another fabulous day here. The place is buzzing with excitement, not just for quilting but because there is a huge World Series baseball game happening right now just blocks from us. So we have quilters rubbing shoulders with baseball fans and trust me, its an interesting combination.

People, Portraits and figures.

This is one of my favourite categories in the show. I absolutely love the image below, I’ve the subtlety, and the execution to of the placement of fabric and the quilting. I’m not taking photos of all the quilts this year, but instead, I wish to study the ones that I really like and find…

Just a few more images from the blue and white exhibition ‘Sapphire Celebration” at the International Quilt Market and Festival. Houston.
