Apple tree update.
I sandwiched the quilt and I thought, I’ll just press it before I quilt it…. and the batting shrank about half an inch…. I’ve never seen that before… and this is a small quilt !!!!! so I had to pull it undone and re-sandwich it. It was 100% cotton pre shunk batting, so I’m going to contact them on that.
A quiet weeked.
I decided to treat myself to a couple of days of sheer indulgence, I sat wrapped in a quilt on the settee and watched TV and ate too much. Goodness, I felt like a slug last night, but I guess the body is rested. I'm cold…. despite the heaters in the house and the studio……

Drawing the quilts.
The quilts will feature fabric designed from the letters, so for instance the blue fabric in the some of the blocks will look like the knitted sweater, there will even be holes in it…
The red and white will be the same as the legs and there will be illustrated applique blocks of unusual apple trees in some of the blocks.
