Lovely photos. We returned home from our second visit to San Miguel earlier this week. As we were waiting for our shuttle to the Leon airport, we met and chatted with a couple from San MIguel. She noticed my tote bag from a 2007 quilt show in Chicago, and mentioned she was a quilter. She asked if I knew you–I do know your name in the quilt world. Her name is Yolanda (Yoli) del Rio. When I got home, I was delighted to find your website and see so many photos of familiar sights in San Miguel. And I have emailed Yoli with photos of my own quilts–I just wish I had met her (and her husband Victor) when we first arrived in San Miguel. The quilt world is a small and very friendly community!
