Just heard from Jamie on a very crackly line. "Mum I just want to let you now I'm safe" However, the other cameraman has two broken ribs… The antidote to stress is to draw and listen to music… so I will play with the almost finished alphabet.

Just got news that all of the crew were saved when their ship sank after being rammed by the Japanese ship.
Just heard one of the ships in the Antarctic has been sunk by the Japanese. It's the small fast ship but until I hear from my son, we are on tenterhooks.
Whale Wars.

Whoops now I see I missed a feather. This quilt is quilted with masterpiece 50 weight cotton top and in the bobbin. I used grey instead of black and I like the effect. It's not quilted as heavily as I usually quilt…
