Color, just plain color. Bangkok flower and fabric market.

Our first visit to Bangkok was in 1976 when we adopted our son Joshua and we accidentally stayed in a brothel…. The Maya Guest house, yes, it turns out the hotel was a house of ill-repute. Oooh I could tell you some stories and I was very innocent in those days. Then again it was really, really interesting. So that memory is never far from our mind when we visit here.

My brain is my tool, my heart is my intuition, and my hands do my bidding.

The motivations and objectives that drive street artists are as varied as the artists themselves.

Going Home.

I have a huge project to complete and I need to be incredibly disciplined. I can’t create another quilt for an entire year which is frustrating. I have so many ideas in my head and the sketch book but I just can’t allow myself the luxury.

The design ideas are whizzing around my head – Santa Fe NM.

To the casual stroller of the streets, it’s a town of culture, its colorful and full of interest, each turn is carefully sculptured for both the visual delight and of course lets not be coy… they love to receive the contents of your pocket. I’ve never seen so many galleries in one place in my entire travels. There are over 300 galleries in this one small enclave.
