Lets return to the Houston Quilt Festival.

I’ve been traveling and it isn’t as easy to write an extensive blog each day. Depending on the speed of the internet in my hotel it often takes time to add the images.

So here we are 2 months later and now I can add the images I missed.

I’ll begin with Houston and I’ll add the few images I took of the  Van Gogh Cherrywood Challenge 2017. I think there were 465 submissions and each and every one I saw was stunning.

Catching up.

I’ve been home a week now. It’s all moving too fast and I have a lot to catch up on after two months on the road. I will finish adding the Houston photos and then do the essays on India and Thailand.

A new link.

For my friends waiting for more blogs, it’s difficult to write it on the road because sometimes the internet is slow.   If you go to my FB link    http://www.facebook.com.iampamholland/ You will find them.

When I was eleven, a friend of my Mothers showed me pictures of the Taj Mahal, she had visited as a travel agent and my imagination went wild… I will never forget that afternoon its still very vivid in my mind. How could I imagine that I, a poor shy kid for the suburbs would be able to visit it…  Well here I am and I’m going to enjoy every minute.

Continuing Houston Quilt Festival images.

I’ve been trying to post both my trip images and the rest of the Houston images. I have so many more to share, so this is todays gift.

The colors of Antigua Guatemala.

Down cobblestone streets full of color and noise. The temperature is in the high 70’s and the air is clean. The streets are full of people, I’m sad to see so many children working on the street selling things. My Pollyanna persona hopes that they go to school later or earlier in the day.  Many…

Walking in Antigua today. – a visual feast.

Finally winding down now that we are here in Antigua Guatemala and my group is just wonderful. That said, our feet pounded the cobblestones over 17,000 times today. I decided that we would eat at a different restaurant each morning for breakfast and our Guide Carlos took us to an amazing restaurant. I didn’t get…
