I woke at 2.00 and tried to go back to sleep. But it evaded me, I was thinking of my next step on the quilt and in the end I came out to the studio at 2.30. I’m paranoid that I’m going to forget to turn off the alarms and wake the neighbors at that…

Dawn, Drama and delight.
Dawn, By far, the best time of the day. I got used to 'Dawns' many years ago. There was a family asleep in the house, the day lay in front of us and it was a wonderful part of the day to have time to myself. As soon as the troops arose… it was all…
Traveling and sewing
This is fascinating. A young man, traveling and sewing.
I need more time.!!!

Light box.
The new light-box has met all my expectations. It's sheer luxury. I have two studios… 40 meters apart. One is for doing my illustrations and also houses my library, however, I need some of my Bayeux books as I work, running back and forth or having them spread on the table isn't working so I…
I found my light box.
Keith and I visited IKEA today, I needed more storage boxes and a small book case for my Bayeux books and files. To my surprise and delight, I found my light box. !!!! Yay. It is 56 " long By 28" wide and 3" deep, pretty close to my specifications. It's actually a desk top….
