Day one, the Great Boudha Stupa and the history area of Bhaktapur.
The air was crisp and a heavy cloud of dew settled over all who ventured out. The sun produced an orange glow to everything and it can be the most difficult time to photograph and also the most exciting because of the interesting light. We met, for the first time as a group on that walk, sharing conversation with each other, and also some of he locals who’s smile would welcome you with friendliness.

Art to make your heart leap – color.
As you wander through the gallery you suddenly get a peep through the door of the skirts painted with vibrant outback colors suspended from the ceiling. The shadows reflecting delicate floating shapes on the floor.

I tried to explain Quilting to him, but he didn’t understand so I said, let me show you a quilt. I opened the trunk and we had show and tell right on the road side, Drowning Bear draped across his bike and the sun shining against the brightest blue sky.

I’m about to leave for our local Guild meeting. The Quilters Guild of South Australia. There will probably be 200 people there.
We will meet, share ideas, quilts and other such wonderful things and marvel at our ingenuity and talent.
We sew on magical machines, we have the best plied thread, and we use computers, and work in fancy studios.
Keeping a Journal Helps Harness Your Creativity
I’m not influential, I’m just an ordinary person, and since the 1980’s I’ve kept a journal in one way or another. I have a bookshelf of journals, some illustrative, some just short notes. I kept shopping dockets from the 80’s. My eldest sons first pay packet. School results, and even my working day life as a fashion designer.
The creative benefits of keeping a journal are also well documented. You’ve likely heard that the best way to get better at writing is to just keep doing it. That’s true, but the benefits go deeper than just crafting better sentences.
