I’m reminded

I’m reminded how lucky I am every time I travel. I’m reminded of the beauty around me. I’m reminded that hard work has afforded me the privilege of appreciation. I’m reminded that my family is special.and I’m reminded that I’m a long way from home when we fly through an electrical storm in a little…

Over the pond again.

Dawn over LA…. Quite a nice vista on the way to work I think.  I’ve been here a few hours and I was going to resist the temptation of working on the computer, however, I do have a few hours to spare before my next flight…. so I’m going to catch up on a little…

I’m exhausted, but this time tomorrow I will be in Brisbane and I will be able to relax a little.I’m going to make a coffee and relax… then get up early tomorrow morning to finish packing. I played a little making quilted cards for class.

I even remember falling asleep in mid conversation on several occasions. I reckon its a…

The Bayeux Tapestry – to Quilt.

I’ve had a lot of questions about my Bayeux Quilt. I will be showing the first part of it at the Quilt Study Group of Australia next week. Initially I had to show part of the quilt to my publisher, and a few others people. It wasn’t quilted then. But of course that was two…

Working in the ‘shed’

It’s been nice having a long weekend.    I stayed in my jamas, til 4.00 pm on Saturday, I’m glad no one visited. Daylight saving is upon us and I noticed the difference when I was out here in the studio of 4.00 am this morning….. in reality it was only 3.00 am (last weeks…
